ASSOCIATE PRODUCER

The MTA Playwrights Lab is the first-of-its-kind collaboration between MIT students and professional theatre artists. The Lab is a weekend-long festival of staged readings featuring the work of student writers in the MIT Playwrights’ Workshop alongside professional actors and directors to help shape their work.

 

Past directors included Adam Greenfield (Associate Artistic Director, Playwrights Horizons), Marti Lyons (The Wolves, Studio Theatre), LA Williams (Founding Artistic Director, Black Directors Studio), Stephen Brackett (Be More Chill, Broadway), Steve Cosson (Founding Artistic Director, The Civilians), and Pascale Florestal (Boston Project Coordinator, SpeakEasy Stage)

 

Past performers include Cody Sloan, Jordan Clark, Marianna Bassham, Maurice Emmanuel Parent, Adrianne Krstansky, Nael Nacer,  Dan Pecci, Marge Buckley, Sarah Bedard, Matthew J Harris, Brandon Green, Elle Borders, Kadahj Bennett, Brooks Reeves, Jackie Davis, Eddie Harris, Simon Rogers, Christina R Chan, Elliot Purcell, Riley Fox Hillyer, Michael Hisamoto, and Celeste Oliva.
